Most often, he wrote under the name of Andr\u00e9 Giacometti. From 1958 to 1963, he also wrote for <em>International Socialism<\/em> (UK), also as Andr\u00e9 Giacometti. Some of his articles are given below. At the time Gallin contributed to these publications, <em>Labor Action<\/em> was edited by Hal Draper (1914-1990), <em>The New International<\/em> was edited by Julius Jacobson (1922-2003), who later edited <em>New Politics<\/em> with his wife Phyllis (1922-2010) and the editor of <em>International Socialism<\/em> was Michael Kidron (1930-2003). Gallin formed enduring friendships with these comrades. Why &#8220;Andr\u00e9 Giacometti&#8221;?
