In a hard-hitting Declaration, Congress denounced the endorsement by the ANC government of neo-liberal policies, also supported by the South African Communist Party. As a &#8220;revolutionary union&#8221;, NUMSA will now build a socialist opposition, based on the Freedom Charter, at the political level and within COSATU.
